January 2011
This is the center block of Mom's Block of the Month. There are 17 pieces to this block. This block has so many avenues to go with. What a neat starter block.
February 2011
This block is the second round to the Round Robin Quilt that I've had a chance to help make. This block has a lot of interest. This block has 40 pieces to it.
March 2011
This block is really amazing. The stripes are so little. I wonder how difficult it was to sew them all together.
What a neat crafter mom is.
April 2011
This block is so beautiful. This block has appliqued flowers and greenery. The time it must have taken to do this design and then on the quilt. I don't know if I'd have the patience. The circle has a lot of meaning to it. It will never be broken....
May 2011
This block is very interesting. The pattern is that of bow ties. Mom was saying at the time that the hard part was getting the bow ties around the white areas. When added to the quilt, mom says that this pattern looks that of the Bejeweled game. I can see it!
June 20011
This is the last round done on my Round Robin Quilt. It consists of 9 patch and stripes. How was mom able to sew such little pieces together on the machine without the machine getting her? Each piece is about 1/2" wide. This round is so fun. I really like it.
