Woe to all those that live in or around the trailer park in where I live...

Tonight there was someone that came through the trailer park and created trouble. My neighbor has some puppies that were born with-in the last few weeks. Tonight was the pickup day for one of the male puppies. Well as of sometime this week, the little male (the only male in the litter) died. My neighbors took care of the remaining puppies that lived and got them ready for their new homes. Well anyway the family that was going to get the little male puppy came to pick him up. The family informed the guy from that family that it had died and was sorry to give the bad news. The guy from the family got really angry and left. Shortly afterwards the guy showed up again, drove in their driveway near my neighbors cars and proceeded to spin the tires which cause rocks and dirt to go flying and hitting their house, their cars, the phone box, and the internet box. Then the guy did a U turn causing more rocks and dirt to go flying all over. Luckily my neighbors things didn't get damaged, but they were rightfully angry. My neighbor then went to the guys home and place of business here in town trying to find out if he actually did that. The guy didn't answer the door. Later my neighbor called the guy and asked him if he did the deed. The guy said that yes he did it and that he was mad that he couldn't get the puppy. The guy then went to our local BP Little Store and proceeded to get after the daughter of my neighbor. My neighbor after getting off the phone with the guy, called the cops and reported it. There was an eye witness to the event and they told the cops what happened. The cops then called the guy, the guy admitted to doing it and that was that. The cops then called back my neighbor and told him what the guy said. They aren't allowed to have any contact with each other and that was the end of it.

This is just the first incident this spring. Unfortunately this will be happening all summer long. We have lots of people driving through the trailer park at high speeds and sometimes loosing control while making the turns. I've talked to the City of Barnum about the traffic through here and there isn't anything they can do. The trailer park is posted as a 15mph area, but there isn't anyone that follows that. Needless to say the cops will be getting regular calls. So in the meantime, I'll continue to sit in my rocking chair watching the traffic and as for the ones that are stupid, there license plates will be recorded and be turned into the police.

I HATE LIVING HERE!!!!!

We just had the greatest evening we've had in a really really long time.

This afternoon my sister-in-law Alice Schadewald called and asked if her and her family could come for a visit. I said in a most exciting voice, "Yes of course, we'd love to have a visit." So right around 6:00pm they came for a visit. They stayed till almost 8:00pm.
My brother-in-law Kyle, sister-in-law Alice, and niece and nephew (Amber and Danny) came. We had just the greatest visit with them. My kids were so excited to see their cousins that they took them to their rooms and had a great time. Kyle and Alice and I talked about everything from whats going on in their lives, what's been going on in our lives, and much more. It was a wonderful visit for everyone.

Neither of us get the chance to visit very often due to work schedules and distances, so when we do get a chance to visit, we always have a great time. Its so wonderful when we do get together. We laugh, think and just enjoy being in each others company. Chris had to work and so missed out on this visit, but when I told him that we had company, he felt bad that he couldn't be here. So I think either Monday or Tuesday (Chris is off then) we'll call them up and see about returning the visit.

They have been going through a lot in their lives and it was great to see that they are doing really well through it all. Sammy and Amber talked about things that Amber has been going through. That is so different because Amber usually didn't say much in prior visits. Sammy was happy to see that Amber wanted to spend some one-on-one time with her. Danny and Alex both have Asperger's Syndrome and just seem to click with each other. Alex said after they left that he needs to practice more on the playstation games they were playing because Danny was better at it this time.

It was so wonderful to have company. Being home all the time and not working can be really lonely. So having them come and spend time with us was so much fun.

Thankyou Kyle, Alice, Danny, Amber for spending the evening with us. We love you!!!

Hello again...

We'll I've been so busy working on the Round Robin Quilts and the blocks of the month. I  have my latest round done on the quilt that was given to me. To see the adventures, check out the other pages. I also finished making a matching block of the month from that round. I can't put them online yet till I send off my turn of the Round Robin Quilt. I made it a rule of mine that after I send off my Round Robin rounds, then I can share the newest rounds with the world. That way the next person can not see it in advance and start planning out what to do next. It makes it more challenging this way. In turn, the next Round Robin that I receive, I will not know anything about until it comes. This does make it a real challenge because you can't plan colors or designs ahead of time.

Well lets see what else is new. Since I last posted, I've had my van worked on twice, got a bunch of bills paid, worked on the above projects till I couldn't think straight anymore, took the dogs to the vet for their yearly checkups and that's about it, I think....

On April 16, 2011, I'll have been married for 18years. That is quite a feat compared to movie star marriages. I'm hoping that Chris takes the day off and that we'll do something fun for just the two of us. Something more then just going shopping. I don't mind the shopping, but I want something special for our anniversary. I don't think thats too much to ask for.......
